Dr. Jeff, Dr. Soo and Dr. Betina can provide you with a Carriere® distalizing appliance to correct your bite without using headgear or removing any of your permanent teeth. This simple appliance works to move your upper teeth into their proper position before you begin treatment with braces or clear aligners.
When you receive a Carriere distalizer, our orthodontists will first create an anchor point for the appliance. The appliance will then be connected to the anchor, and an elastic band will be attached to the appliance. The appliance will then work to move your teeth into the correct positions. If you are wearing the elastic as directed, this entire process can be completed in a matter of months!
